Run dishwasher cleaner cycle
Why it matters
Limescale and grease accumulate in spray arms and heating elements, reducing wash pressure and temperature. This is the #1 reason customers report their dishwashers 'don't clean anymore' without needing repair.
Stop forgetting to do this.
Hearth generates a personalized maintenance schedule so you never miss another run dishwasher cleaner cycle.
How to do it
- 1
Remove all dishes and debris from the dishwasher interior.
- 2
Place a commercial dishwasher cleaner (Affresh, Finish Cleaner) in the center of the tub, or pour 2 cups white vinegar in the bottom.
- 3
Close the door and select the hottest, longest wash cycle available.
- 4
Let the cycle run to completion without opening the door.
- 5
After cycle finishes, inspect spray arms for visible debris and clear any holes if needed.
- 6
Run a rinse cycle with hot water to remove remaining residue.
