Why it matters
Mini-split filters fill with dust quickly. A dirty filter reduces airflow, makes the unit work harder, and can trigger the fault light. Unlike HVAC filters, mini-split filters are washable — not replaceable.

How to do it

Turn off the unit.

Open the front panel by lifting up.

Slide out the filter panels.

Rinse under warm water and let dry completely.

Reinstall before running the unit.
