How to do it

Locate the indoor shut-off valves for your exterior faucets.

Turn the valves to the off position.

Go outside and completely disconnect all garden hoses.

Turn the outdoor faucets on to allow any trapped water to drain out.

Place foam insulation covers over the faucets and secure them.
