How to do it

Open your thermostat app and log in to your account.

Go to Settings or System menu and look for Firmware or Software Updates.

If an update is available, tap Install and wait for it to complete.

Review your seasonal heating/cooling schedule in the app.

Adjust temperature setpoints if needed for current weather patterns.

Check that battery or C-wire status shows healthy in the System Info section.
