How to do it

Locate your security system control panel and user manual.

Enter test mode by pressing Test button or entering a test code.

Arm the system in test mode.

Open and close each door and window one at a time.
- 5
Verify the panel displays the correct zone name.
- 6
Check each wireless sensor for a low-battery indicator on the panel.
- 7
If any zone fails to trigger an alert, replace battery or contact your provider.

Disarm the system and exit test mode when complete.
